I am Teresa Stivers, CEO of Walden Family Services. With decades of experience in child welfare and nonprofit leadership, I am passionate about advocating for the well-being of children in foster care and ensuring they have the resources, stability, and guidance needed to thrive. 

Please tell us about the work you guys do at Walden Family Services:
At Walden, we are dedicated to providing foster care, adoption, and transitional housing services for children, youth, and families throughout Southern California. Our mission is to ensure that every child—regardless of their background or circumstances—has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, supportive, and loving environment.

Through our dedicated team and community partners, we work to provide trauma-informed care, educational support, and life-skills training to help young people transition successfully into adulthood.

At the heart of our work is a belief that every child deserves a bright future.
